it's like the walk for millions, but on bikes.. you can get sponsored or pay up yourself.
it starts at tai po and ends in tai wai, 7:30 start and 2pm finish.

also i am not sure why riding from tai po to tai wai takes like 6hours????
i thought it was riding??? or are there heaps of events in between????

I think you only need to pay 300 to join, and you get a free tee shirt.
Obviously you can donate more if you have sponsors.
It may take us less then 1 hr to complete but remember there are kids and families who are not really in a race so I guess they have it going till 2pm just in case... also I think they are letting ppl out in groups, so it might not be a 7:30 start for everyone???

Oh and will they make a fuss if we don't have brakes and a helmet?

2. Participants can bring their own bicycles. However, they have to obey the ordinances and instructions stipulated by related government departments for choosing suitable bicycles. Participants have to follow the arrangements, instructions and official checking by the Organizer in order to participate in this event.

5. To enhance participants’ awareness towards the event and road safety, participants briefing and road safety seminar will be held before the event. Participants are suggested to wear helmet and other protective equipments.
