hey everyone. This is andrew in toronto, ontario! whaddup!
i've been to hk for about a month back in january and I REALLY want to head back. its a really nice/busy city and i'd really want to bike thru it.
anyways, figured i'd chat here cuz the local scene in toronto has been busy and i hadn't met up with many of them yet!

RE: New members say "Hello" here...
hey man, sweet. i'll def try to keep as to what is up to date in HK.
well this is kinda interesting.. I just realized HK never had an actual bike messenger culture until trackbikes/fixed gear started to get popular. I know japan had a cycle messenger scene, im kinda surprised HK never started one, maybe its because the MTR is so effecient.
with the new territories getting more population and more business, maybe it would make sense to have one there...?
anyways, is there a picture thread? to post pics of our rides?

word! sha tin! i actually spent an entire month living in the regal riverside hotel out there. Really nice biking trails along the river to ease the mind, and esp in hk, clearing the mind is almost priceless. I like sha-tin a lot.. kinda similar to north york in toronto.

RE: New members say "Hello" here...
Hi-
I'm new to fixed gear, biking, Hong Kong, and all that Jazz. Just purchased my bike from Brian, and already started with some mods. So far I have new handlebars, seat, and seat post. Anyone know where I can find a top frame pad in HK? I've already come pretty close to hitting the family jewels and I would like to have kids some day. Having a blast riding around Sham Shui Po at night Oh yeah, I'm in HK for two years of schooling at City U. Hope to hit up one of the group rides one of these days.
Take care,
Brian Chang
